FEATURED IN A+, THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS HONORS COLLEGE MAGAZINE

A little over eight years ago, I graduated from the University of Arkansas Honors College with a B.S. in biology and anthropology and a minor in Spanish. Last month, I opened up the most recent issue of A+, the University of Arkansas Honors College magazine, and found myself featured inside, with a standout quote to boot!

Their "Hometown Heroes" section features Honors College alumni who are making a difference in the area, and it sure is an honor to be featured alongside so many talented people. It was also great to have one of my photos in the article. See if you can spot it!

The Honors College treated me right. Thanks to them, I was able to spend my entire junior year studying abroad in India, Nepal, and Costa Rica. Thanks to them, I took my first trip out of the country, and was introduced to the rest of the world. If I could do it all over -- the extra coursework, the more challenging classes, the honors thesis -- I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Since graduation, they've had me do plenty of photography work for them, something I'll always be grateful for.

Thanks for featuring me in the article, and I hope to keep working with you in the future!
