ESSENCE MAGAZINE | ARKANSAS EDITORIAL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

I've had to keep it "hush hush" for a couple of months until publication, but I can finally share images from a shoot I did for Essence Magazine featuring Walmart executive Latriece Watkins.

Back in mid-October, I was contacted by Essence Magazine in New York, a magazine with a target market of African-American women, with a question: was I available for a photoshoot at the Walmart headquarters the next day? Of course, I said yes. With half an hour to do portraits of an upper-level executive at the world's largest company, the challenge was set. Luckily, Latriece was easy to work with and agreeable to any ideas I had, which are traits I wish all of my portrait clients possessed!

Now that the issue has hit the stands, I can finally share some images with you.

(Thanks to Jared (pictured last) for assisting me on the shoot to make it flow a little faster!)
