PRIME PETRO SERVICES | NORTHWEST ARKANSAS DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY

If you know me, you know I'm not a fan of our addiction to fossil fuels. So, unsurprisingly, this gig presented an opportunity for some moral introspection.

When I got contacted last fall about coming out to a couple of job sites for Prime Petro Services, a small petroleum company based in Texas, to capture images of their work for a new website and other promotional usage, I had to ask myself not whether I could do the job, but whether I wanted to, and whether I should. I'm 100% on the train of weaning ourselves off of fossil fuels as quickly as is reasonably possible, and documenting the installation of more natural gas pipelines didn't sound very appealing to me. But, in the end, I decided that it would be an interesting opportunity to take a look into "the other side" that I might not otherwise get.

Here are some images from a couple of mornings of shooting at job sites near Hiwasse and Centerton, Arkansas. Click to enlarge.
