Time Isn't Always On Your Side
It's almost 3am on (technically) Saturday morning, and my plane leaves at 5:25 on Sunday. TOMORROW. This means I have barely over one day left to get things ready. Sadly, I think I'm too stressed to actually be as excited as I should be.
We had a semi-big family/friend dinner tonight, and Geshe la surprised us with some Rupees and phone numbers for everyone in the world--and promised more numbers tomorrow. He's really going to hook us up. Basically, anywhere we go we'll have someone to call whether it's an emergency or not. Pretty handy!
I've been slacking--I still have that essay to write, on top of packing for 3.5 months. (Actually, I wouldn't call it slacking, but I'm just too busy to get everything done).
Will I get it all done? Yes. Will I have fun doing it? No.
Will it be worth it?
Absolutely.
